From the terraces there is an amazing view of the Szczecin Lagoon, an archipelago of forty-four islands and the backwaters of the Świna River delta and Lake Wicko Wielkie. The viewing terraces are located at the highest point of the cliff above the Szczecin Lagoon, over 50 m above sea level. It is a great place to observe the fauna inhabiting the islands, especially various birds - including the white-tailed eagle proudly circling over the stronghold - the symbol of the Wolin National Park. Although the viewing point itself lies outside the Park's borders, it is close to two other viewing points in the WPN - Zielonka Hill and Piaskowa Góra with Lake Turkusowe. The Szczecin-Świnoujście waterway and numerous water units moving on it are also visible.

A place with history
Archaeological excavations conducted repeatedly indicate that in the period between the 10th and 12th centuries, Lubin was a settlement of very important importance, the centre of which was a stronghold. Among other things, numerous fragments of early medieval vessels, human bones, silver coins from 951, fragments of three horn combs (one decorated with a Scandinavian braid motif), amber and rock crystal beads and iron rivets for boats were discovered.
